How to set up self-exclusion (a self-ban)
You have the right to voluntarily stop participating in gambling at any time for a period of at least 12 months. To do so:
- Sign in to the Gosuslugi portal.
- Submit an application to be added to the register of people who have opted out of gambling (through an MFC office or online using an electronic signature).
- Specify the desired period (at least 12 months) and the bank details to which funds should be returned.
The application cannot be withdrawn early. Your information will appear in the register within 12 hours.
What happens after you submit the application
Once you have been added to the register:
- Access to your account will be completely blocked.
- Placing bets, including online bets, will no longer be possible.
- All unsettled bets will be cancelled, and the funds will be returned to the specified bank account within five business days.
- Winnings from events that have already taken place will also be paid out.
- Any available account balance will be returned.
- You will not be able to visit betting shops or access your account until the self-exclusion period ends.

We recommend using self-exclusion tools if you feel that betting is getting out of control. Gambling is entertainment, not a way to earn money.
